Free concert at MVP Arena on Oct

ALBANY, N.Y. — The Innovation Partnership, led by Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy and MVP Health Care President and CEO Chris Del Vecchio, has announced a free movie music concert at MVP Arena on Oct. 9.

The Albany Symphony and the Empire State Youth Orchestra (ESYO) will perform selections from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and more. Members of the public will have an opportunity to join an onstage play-in with their own instruments. Advance registration is required for the play-in. “We are thrilled to be able to offer people of all ages the opportunity to enjoy a free concert with talented individuals from both the Albany Symphony and ESYO at our premier entertainment venue,” said McCoy in a news release. “It’s also a chance for musicians of all abilities to bring their instruments to the concert and be able to play on stage with the Albany Symphony and Empire State Youth Orchestra. The Innovation Partnership was formed to provide greater access for all community members to programs and services that could improve their health and wellbeing.”
