NexCore Group, Hatchspaces partner on California life… Leave a comment

Healthcare development company NexCore Group and life sciences real estate company Hatchspaces completed the transformation of a building in Irvine, Calif., into a life sciences laboratory.

The HatchLabs @ Irvine Spectrum features lab space that has already been rented out by Skye Biologics Holdings, Seegene Technologies and Phase Scientific Americas. The facility is two stories and includes parking and outdoor community spaces, according to a Sept. 22 NexCore news release.

“We know it is a challenge for emerging life science companies to find space that functions at the highest technical level and delivers a quality creative environment,” said Todd Varney, NexCore chief development officer and managing partner. “With the recent increase in activity related to life sciences, driven in large part by the pandemic and vaccine development, delivering specialized and functioning facilities is more important than ever before. We were thrilled to work with HATCHspaces on this unique project in Orange County and look forward to continued, impactful collaborations.”
