Reid Health adds VP position to oversee… Leave a comment

RICHMOND, Ind. — Reid Health has added a position to oversee its Information Technology Department.

Muhammad Siddiqui began Aug. 1 as Reid’s vice president and chief information officer, according to a news release. He leads the IT department that oversees software, computers and other technologies as well as cybersecurity.

“The addition of a chief information officer to our team is vitally important given the ever-increasing role technology plays in making sure our patients receive the best care possible,” said Craig Kinyon, Reid Health’s president and CEO. “Reid has always taken pride in being at the forefront of healthcare innovation, and Muhammad will help ensure that continues in the future.”

Siddiqui has more than 20 years experience in healthcare systems and transformation projects. He most recently was chief information officer for International Medical Center in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he spent eight years in information technology roles, including director of IT operations, at the Cleveland Clinic.

“Reid Health has always prioritized its patients, which encouraged me to take on this role,” Siddiqui said. “I’m thrilled to be part of the team, and I truly look forward to leading, inspiring, and driving the talented IT staff.

“We want to build better connections with our providers, researchers, and the incredible patients and families we serve.”

Siddiqui received a bachelor’s degree in operations from University of Sindh in Jamshoro, Pakistan, and a master’s in business administration from University of Phoenix.
