While businesses have made strides in adjusting to the new normal, the landscape is still a challenging and evolving one, which continues to make room for innovation this year and beyond. This year’s SmartBrief Foodservice Innovation Awards, now open for nominations, aims to celebrate exceptional products that help foodservice operators and professionals work smarter, safer and more sustainably.
In partnership with The National Restaurant Association, SmartBrief’s Foodservice Innovation Awards is a way to recognize the companies that are shaping how foodservice companies are doing business and offers an opportunity to showcase innovation and solutions to our readers, those who work in the industry in some way day in and day out.
Companies will be recognized for their contributions to the following categories:
Sustainability Solutions
Products in this category could include but are not limited to:
- Front-end sustainability (plastics, disposables, etc.)
- Food waste reduction
- Back-end sustainability (production systems)
Technology Solutions
Products in this category could include, but are not limited to:
- Delivery management systems/online ordering for takeout and delivery
- Workforce management tools
- Convenience technology (contactless ordering, payment, etc.)
Health & Safety Solutions
Products in this category could include, but are not limited to:
- Food safety sanitation
- Employee hygiene
