“Longtime residents of San Antonio may remember the initial fervor over Tech Bloc eight years ago as a throng of people crowded inside what would later become Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery, cheering on the prospect of invigorating San Antonio’s tech community.
Since the pandemic, Tech Bloc has taken on more of a background role in San Antonio’s rapidly unfolding tech narrative. But that could change under new leadership, as new CEO Ileana Gonzalez prepares to steer the nonprofit in the latter half of 2023 and beyond.
