UK HealthTech companies have a limited-time opportunity to join the ABHI UK Pavilion at Africa Health Exhibition taking place in Cape Town from 22-24th October 2024.
In partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), ABHI has announced the launch of the first-ever UK Pavilion at Africa Health Exhibition. This marks the first time the event will be hosted in Cape Town, a city celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and growing healthcare sector. The UK Pavilion offers an opportunity for UK companies to engage with key stakeholders and expand their presence in Africa’s dynamic market.
Participating companies will receive tailored support from ABHI’s International team, including one-on-one consultations with DBT specialists. They will have the opportunity to showcase their latest technologies alongside over 500 global exhibitors. As demand for innovative HealthTech solutions rises, Africa offers a vibrant market for UK companies to expand and thrive.
In addition, the Pavilion will feature Dr. Robert Karanja, an Angel Investor from Villgro Africa. With extensive experience in health innovation and a successful track record in launching healthcare ventures across Africa, Dr. Karanja will provide valuable insights and facilitate key introductions for participating companies.
With a focus on driving export growth and fostering collaborations, the ABHI UK Pavilion aims to strengthen the presence of UK HealthTech companies in this fast-growing region.
Michelle Michelucci, head of international events, ABHI, said: “Cape Town is set to become the new hub for healthcare innovation, and we want UK HealthTech companies to be at the forefront of this transformation. As Africa rapidly becomes a powerhouse in the global HealthTech sector, Africa Health offers a unique opportunity for companies to showcase their cutting-edge innovations and connect with key stakeholders in a market full of potential.
“If you are ready to tap into the rapidly growing African healthcare market, do not miss this final opportunity to be part of the region’s premier event.”
This year’s edition is set to attract over 6,000 professional visitors, featuring over 500 exhibitors from over 40 countries over three impactful days. Co-located with Medlab Africa, the event features a revamped conference format, with half-day sessions and ample networking sessions, allowing attendees to fully engage in both educational sessions and the exhibition.
UK companies are encouraged to book their stand by 14th September to take full advantage of ABHI’s support and expertise. This includes promotional activities and guidance to enhance their brand visibility and make a significant impact at the event.
The ABHI UK Pavilion will offer a dedicated space within the Africa Health Exhibition for UK HealthTech innovators to showcase their expertise, strengthen their market presence, and establish partnerships with key stakeholders in the region and beyond.
