Lab Innovations reports majority of exhibition space sold for 2023 Leave a comment
Trade show Lab Innovations says it has sold more than 84% of its exhibition space for this year, despite increasing floorspace for this year.
Organisers of the show, which returns to the NEC Birmingham on 1-2 November, said names already confirmed to attend include SLS, IKA, Shimadzu, Analytix, Getinge, PerkinElmer, Antylia Scientific (formerly Cole-Parmer) and Veolia Water Technologies.
Last year’s 10th anniversary show boasted 192 exhibitors and 4,213 visitors and featured a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation. Features included The Sustainable Laboratory run by Green Light Laboratories, the Sustainability Trail and four free to attend theatre programmes. The Insights & Innovation Theatre sessions were co-curated by My Green Labs and Laboratory News.
Laboratory News also partnered Lab innovations to provide the annual Lab Awards, which will be expanded this year to be presented at a gala dinner on 1 November.
The event will be co-located with the Advanced Engineering show, whose supported include the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Composites UK, Make UK, UKRI, UK Space Agency, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, GAMBICA, BARA and the Department for International Trade
The bookings for the largest lab trade show suggest the market is recovering well from the effects of pandemic and holding up well during economic downturn. Last week also saw the conclusion of another major event on the lab industry calendar, CHEMUK which featured a dedicated laboratory theme for the first time.
