Maritime Week: MPA launches Maritime Transformation and Innovation Programme Leave a comment

Maritime experts from 15 countries will train participants of the MTIP.

The Maritime Port Authority (MPA) has launched a training programme aimed at driving innovation and efficiency within the maritime community.

The programme, called Maritime Transformation and Innovation Programme (MTIP), is also expected to support the key agenda of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Under the inaugural programme, participants will gain insights from 20 senior officers in maritime administrations from 15 countries around the world on transformational strategy and effective change management practice.

MTIP was launched on the last day of the Singapore Maritime Week 2022.

Other major events during the last day of the SMW include the announcement of a 20% higher co-funding support for employees who are sent to ASEAN countries under the Overseas Attachment scheme and Global Talent Programme, and the launch of the Maritime Leadership Programme’s (MLP) second edition.
