You can now buy affordable medical insurance via a digital banking app or a healthcare gift voucher on your smartphone and send it electronically to the person who needs to use it for a doctor.
Only about 16% of South Africans are members of medical aid schemes with access to private medical care, so there is a great need for affordable, innovative health insurance.
