Spring Conference: Unraveling Healthcare Technology Leave a comment

The HIMSS British Columbia Chapter is delighted to announce the return of the annual in-person Spring Conference! This year’s theme is Accelerating Healthcare Innovation: Sustaining Scalable Solutions. For the first time, we have expanded the conference agenda to add an optional post-conference Healthcare Design Thinking Workshop. Attendees may choose to sign up for either or both the main conference and the design thinking workshop days.

May 4: Main Conference

How might we create and nourish a culture of innovation in healthcare? What’s the secret to building impactful, innovative digital health solutions that both scale well and can survive the test of time? Hear insightful perspectives from industry experts and thought leaders, reconnect with colleagues in person, make interesting new connections, and grow your knowledge and skills. (And as is our tradition, we’ll greet you with a hot breakfast, keep you well-fed and caffeinated through the day, and hold our ever-popular networking social after the conference is done to celebrate a successful day of learning!).

May 5: Optional Healthcare Design Thinking Workshop

Join us on Friday, May 5, for a special full-day workshop designed in collaboration with the British Columbia Ministry of Health’s Health Innovation Hub! This active, hands-on event introduces participants to design thinking principles and practice, sparks creativity, brings out your inner innovator, and teaches new skills and tools to help build effective human-centered solutions to complex healthcare problems. All roles and levels of experience are encouraged to join—all you need to bring is your enthusiasm for learning and your passion for building a better healthcare system together.
