2023 County-Level Health Insurance Marketplace Enrollment in Kansas Leave a comment
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released summary enrollment data on March 23, 2023, for the tenth open enrollment period of the federally facilitated health insurance marketplace created by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The open enrollment period lasted from November 1, 2022, to January 15, 2023. During that time, a total of 124,473 Kansans selected a health insurance plan or were automatically re-enrolled for the 2023 plan year through the marketplace. The data report the count of unique consumers who selected or were automatically re-enrolled into a 2023 marketplace health plan (regardless of whether the consumer paid the premium). In 2023 there were no counties in Kansas with below 2.0% population selecting a plan.
